Morsels from the Moor is a new book that reveals the hidden value of peatlands and explores the application of paludiculture for food production. By cultivating wetland-compatible crops such as reeds, moss, and berries, we can restore peatlands while fostering sustainable economic opportunities. But this isn’t just a book about ecosystems—it’s about transforming how we view and interact with the land. Morsels from the Moor delves into the rich culinary and cultural heritage of Europe, highlighting crops grown on peatlands. Through engaging stories and recipes, it demonstrates how paludiculture can revitalise not just our landscapes but also our dining tables.
